Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name. Your credit balance, purchases and subscription status. The photos you upload, the prompts you write and the videos and images you generate. Usage events such as pages viewed, generations started and checkouts opened.

We do not store passwords: you sign in with a one-time email code or link, or with Google. Payment card details are entered with Stripe and never reach DoTheTrend.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, whether it is verified, your name and your Google account ID. We use them only to create your account, sign you in and send account emails. We do not access Gmail, Drive or any other Google data, and we never sell this data or use it for advertising. Deleting your account deletes it.

Photos you upload

Your photos are used only to make the result you asked for. They are sent to the model provider through a time-limited link that expires shortly after the request. Your creations are private to your account; if you share a media link, anyone with that link can view the file until it expires. We do not publish your creations or use them as examples without your permission.

How we use it

To run your generations, keep you signed in, process payments, return credits for failed generations, send the emails you ask for, answer support requests, prevent abuse and improve the product.

Who we share it with

Google, for sign-in. Stripe, for payments, receipts and billing management. Kie and the developers of the models it hosts (ByteDance and Google), for generation. Cloudflare, for hosting, file storage and sending sign-in emails. Google Analytics, only if you allow analytics cookies.

We share data with authorities only when the law requires it or to report child sexual abuse material. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies and analytics

A session cookie keeps you signed in. A first-party cookie remembers, for up to 30 days, how you first found us. Your unfinished prompt may be kept in your browser’s storage. Google Analytics loads only after you allow analytics cookies, and you can change that choice any time with Analytics preferences in the footer. Analytics events never include your prompts, email address or media links.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, uploads and creations while your account is open. Removing a creation hides it from your library; ask us and we delete the underlying files. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account data, uploads and creations within 30 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Model providers run their own systems, and we cannot guarantee when they remove the copies they processed.

Your rights

You can download your creations from your library at any time. Email support@dothetrend.ai from your account address to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also object to processing or complain to your data protection authority.

Children

DoTheTrend is for people aged 18 and over. If you believe a minor has an account, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top. We email signed-up users before significant changes take effect.
