How we measure this
Every three days we search TikTok for “Damon Salvatore” and “Replace Damon with me” and take the most-liked public videos posted between and Oct 27, 2026, up to 30 per search with duplicates removed, then add up their views. It is a sample of how active the trend is, not a count of every video that uses it. Our trend lists rank trends by these recent views and give newer trends more weight than older ones.
We follow each trend for about three weeks after it is added, or until new videos stop picking up views. Source: TikTok public search results, last checked .
