How we measure this
Every three days we search TikTok for “The Jawn Dance” and “That's the Jawn dance” and take the most-liked public videos posted between and Oct 27, 2026, up to 30 per search with duplicates removed, then add up their views. It is a sample of how active the trend is, not a count of every video that uses it. Our trend lists rank trends by these recent views and give newer trends more weight than older ones.

Which photo works best
Head to knees
The bounce shows your legs, so a photo from the head to at least the knees works best.
A drink helps
You hold a drink in the clip; a photo with something in your hand blends in best, but it is not required.
Pets: whole body
Show your whole pet so it keeps its shape when it stands up.
Adults only
Use a photo of yourself or of an adult who agreed.

FAQ & LIMITATIONS
The Jawn Dance questions & limitations
What is the Jawn dance?
The Jawn dance is a TikTok trend set to "The JAWN" by Jerri. You hold a drink at your chest, scratch your neck and wait, deadpan, for the beat to drop, then grin and bounce from side to side. It comes from a July 2026 comedy skit and became a CapCut AI template in August, so now people, grandparents and pets all do it. Some call it the waiting for the drop dance.
What is the JAWN song meaning?
The JAWN Jerri meaning starts with the title: "jawn" is Philadelphia slang for any thing, so "that's the jawn" says "that's the one". The JAWN song meaning beyond that is for the lyrics sites; this page does not print the lyrics.
Is The JAWN by Jerri an AI song?
Many people ask whether The JAWN by Jerri is AI generated. We found no statement from the artist either way, so we cannot say. The AI part of this trend is the video: the CapCut templates, the AI pets and this page.
Can I make my grandma do the Jawn dance?
Yes, with her OK. Jawn grandma and grandad clips are among the biggest posts of the trend: one CapCut grandma take has 8.9 million views. Use Human and a photo of her standing, head to knees, ideally with a drink in her hand.
What happens if a generation fails?
Failed generations return their credits to your balance automatically.
